I was in the Facebook's London office once and saw that they have "sleeping pods". When I asked why they have those, I didn't get a straight-forward answer. The answer was like: "come on, you know why." I think the ideal scenario for these companies is that their employees would almost live in the office and work most of the time there. This way they'd work for more than 8 hours and there'd be no commuting. Having a high salary doesn't really mean much if you don't have time to enjoy it.

It's not an actual sweatshop, but how far is it?
